Panic attacks are mostly experienced by individuals who experience emotional weakness wherein they are unable to handle demanding situations positively and so they end up in panic. In certain events, it’s really hard to have presence of mind and be strong since we tend to worry much. However, we must remember that these actions won’t help us in dealing with the situation the right and worst is we might aggravate the problem.

People in different walks of life tend to panic in different ways but the common factor is the cause of panic which is stress or anxiety. When a family member was found lying in the floor and not breathing the immediate response is either to burst and out and cry for help and maybe many will do the right thing which is to call for medical help since he cannot rescue the life of his family member by himself. We tend to panic in situations wherein time to accomplish something is very limited. If you’re caught in the office and your boss demands a report to the board in just few minutes, you tend to panic and worst is you don’t have even a single page to present. As presented, panic can either result to termination of life or employment. If you are the rescuer, you might die first because of heart attack after panic before the patient or fired from work before your boss terminates you.

In stopping panic attacks, you tend to be firm with yourself. I agree that it might be difficult to execute for quite sometime but try hard to do it in every situation that you are faced with. Try to relax and think of solutions rather than additional problems that might link to the situation if you don’t do the right thing. Stay in focus and have presence of mind. React in a right way! Always remember that you cannot solve or deal with something if you’re not in the right mind.

If you really find it hard to do these, try to meditate and think of something that will let you stay in focus. Search the books and internet for some tips that will help you learn to stay in focus during emergencies and demanding situations. If certain issues trigger panic, consult a psychologist and make an appointment and explore what is biofeedback. Speak out what you feel when in stress and what are your initial actions. Biofeedback lets you explore stressful situations with the goal that opening it up will let you be used to it thus panic will be lessened. It also associated with desensitization.

It is very easy to say to stay calm and don’t panic but it’s hard to execute whenever you are faced in a very difficult situation. On the other hand, it is a fact that we need to keep ourselves intact before the attack gets worst. There are cases wherein patients of panic attacks died with cardiovascular arrest within minutes. This can happen to anyone if you’re unaware how panic attacks can lead to serious conditions if not managed accordingly.

How do we effectively deal with panic attacks? First, identify the cause and the contributing factors associated to the attack. Let it be known that panic attacks are psychological response of the body towards a stressful event. On the other hand, we can experience attack for the first time and so we cannot deal with it since attacks can be triggered by different situations and not by certain events. And so, whatever the triggering factor is one must be knowledgeable on how to handle the attack.

Stress is known to be the primary causative factor that causes panic attacks. First, person feels anxious and the feeling progresses into agitation, distress thus causing panic. Vital signs tend to rise significantly and it is very visible that a person sweats profusely, breathe rapidly and deeply and the heart rate is really pounding. Physical signs and symptoms are going to and fro, altered vision, tend to repeat words being said, questions repetitively and the person will burst out crying. These signs and symptoms vary from every individual since we tend to react to situations in a unique way.

Stress management is one of the simplest yet effective ways in dealing with panic attacks. Everyday seems to be a stressful one if you don’t know how to live life in a positive way. It’s quite impossible to avoid stress but minimizing its effects is really possible. Stress is like a challenging competition wherein you need to win the game!

Focus and presence of minds are necessary qualities that you must have whenever faced in a demanding situation so as to prevent an attack. It is where meditation and biofeedback sets it. Although it’s really hard to achieve, you need to try and keep yourself intact. Worrying and thinking too much won’t help you. Think of possible solutions and avoid minding branches of problems that may come across the situation. In conclusion, don’t think of future problems rather think of positive solutions.

Medications will help relax a person having an intense attack since it provides a calming effect that will loosen the intense psychological response. Muscle relaxation is the primary effects of these drugs and side effects include drowsiness and enhance sleep quality.

Having a panic attack in the most unexpected time can be very troublesome especially if you are unaware on how to remedy the problem. This article will help you deal with the attack so as to prevent its progression that might lead to a more serious condition. Panic is rooted with stress that results to mild anxiety and progresses to panic attacks.

Remedies come in various forms and there is truth that you don’t need to spend much just to manage the situation. You can embrace traditional approach and feel assured of its effectiveness. Since stress is the primary root of anxiety and panic attacks then you must learn how to manage stress positively. Bear in mind that you cannot run from stress since it will hunt you throughout your lifespan. The best way to deal with stress is learning how to minimize its negative effects. Take it as a lifetime challenge wherein you must end up as the undefeated winner. Stress management takes different forms from simple to complex approach. This kind of therapy is known to be very effective to all since everyone has its own preference on how to handle stress. Some prefers to go out with family and friends while some prefer to be alone and go on vacation or shopping. Stress management wants to refresh the mind and be ready for next set of stressful events.

Another alternative is to learn how to meditate. This second type of therapy will help you to learn how to focus and make it a center point whenever you need to especially when having panic attacks. It also teaches the proper breathing technique so that mind is supplied with oxygen that aids proper circulation that results to right judgment during emergent situations.

The environment that you are exposed to greatly contributes in managing panic attacks. You must settle for a milieu that is free from any form of distractions (in the form of noise, light or untidy surroundings). As much as possible it is conducive for sleeping so as to relax the body and the mind and ease physical symptoms of the attacks such as apprehension and agitation. Since it’s hard to let the person rest while in panic, try to divert his attention into a lees frightening topic. It is an effective way to reduce the anxiety level of the person. If he keeps on mentioning thoughts, try to enlighten him with positive ideas so as to relieve her with emotional burdens that might aggravate the attack.

Lastly, you can remedy panic attacks by taking anti-anxiety medications. The effects of the medication results to muscle relaxation thus decreasing body tension and help vital signs go back to normal. Side effects of these medications include drowsiness and dizziness thus it is best taken during night time or before sleep.

Panic attacks have always been a major worry to the people all over the world, and there have been several techniques to stop panic attacks. Many people consider anxiety as the major cause of panic attacks and hence try to stop anxiety to overcome the panic attack.

Apart from the physical indications of panic attacks one can easily observe some serious emotional indications like anger, feeling of death and sadness are the major emotional indications of panic attack. So if you are observing any of such indications in you then, it surely is a time for you to get a suited panic away technique for you.

Panic Away Technique

There have been several methods to stop phobia of getting panic attacks, these all panic away techniques have been adapted by people according to their body and the panic attack observed by them. Some people take the help of medicines and several medical treatments to stop anxiety and panic attacks, some people like to adapt the panic away technique like self medication, meditation and by preparing the body to get over these anxiety and phobias. These all panic away techniques has been largely accepted by the people who have experienced panic attacks and wants to prepare themselves to get over it.

Many of the people doubt the working of these panic away techniques and hesitate in adapting them to stop panic attacks. But the reality is that if you select a panic attack technique to stop panic attacks according to your problem and according to your body then you can easily get over the panic attacks pretty comfortably. These panic away techniques are developed on the traditional ways of dealing the panic attacks and are strictly according to the human body, so the chances of failing these techniques are pretty less and you can rely on them to stop anxiety and panic attacks for you. These all tests and the prior results support the efficiency of panic techniques in overcoming the panic attacks and makes these techniques one of the best ways to Stop panic attacks and to stop phobia of panicking.

Greetings and salutations once again dear readers! When we last saw each other we had left off at the end of a very touchy subject, for myself as well as the many, many others who have ever tried to stop taking Paxil (or any other anti-depressant/anti-anxiety) medication.

Now to tell you the truth dear readers, we didn’t even get to scratch the surface of what could happen should you decide to stop your medication without the help of a qualified physician.

Once again, I am making a DISCLAIMER here and now that this is not to speak ill of Paxil or any other medication that is on the market today that is for fighting anxiety or depression.

In fact I am all for anything that will help a person feel better in their own skin.

The following is just a recount of my own personal experience of what can happen to a person when they try to stop a medication cold turkey, especially when that medication alters certain levels of chemicals in the brain.

About a year ago I was having a very, very busy time with my two kids and my husband, a newly married woman who was used to being on her own with her kids. I was supposed to pick up my prescription for that month and could not afford it, so, being a mom I said to myself that I could last until the twentieth of the month and then I would pick them up, no big deal right?

Wrong! This was on the second day of the month, there were 18 days to go. Folks, if you think that not too much could go wrong in that amount of time you are seriously kidding yourself. The following is a breakdown of my symptoms up until the twentieth of the month when I finally got myself back on the Paxil.

Day 2—Only 2 days off the paxil, I thought I was doing ok, just a little irritable.

Day 4—I was getting very cranky with my family and I was starting to cry a little. I still thought, ok I can handle this.

Day 8—Now I am starting to start fights with my husband because everything that he did annoyed me. As for my kids, they tended to stay away from me. I was starting to get cold sweats and heart palpitations.

Day 10—One of the worst days. I tried to roll myself a cigarette and when I could not get the roller to work I flipped out and threw it across the kitchen. I was constantly crying, sweaty palms, heart palpitations were getting much worse. My husband was starting to get really worried about me.

Day 12—I can’t even sleep through the night any more. I was waking up every half hour on the hour. Finally I would give up and start my day at 2am. By the time 8am rolled around, my children could not wait to get out of the house away from me.

-My parents try to get me to go to the emergency room. Still very weepy and getting worse.

Day 14—From this day on I get worse and worse, shutting myself into the house and not wanting to talk to anyone. Every time I tried to say something, a lump would form in my throat and I would begin to cry uncontrollably.

-No sleep, irritability, heart palpitations were at the max and I seriously had thoughts of killing myself. My husband kept a close watch on me until the night of the 16th day. He then got so tired of seeing how torn up I was.

-My complexion was pasty grey, my eyes were dazed looking. I couldn’t eat and as I said, the lump was always there. I finally went in that night and the doctor put me on paxil right away, not before they gave me a healthy dose of ativan to calm me down.

Two days later, when the paxil was circulating throughout my body, I was back to normal. This was just a run down of the hell that I endured. I would never wish this on my worst enemy. Hopefully my personal story will help any of you out there that are contemplating going cold turkey. Don’t do it! Until the next time dear readers, stay safe and take care of yourself and your loved ones!

It is a sad fact to face indeed but it is one fact that we must face. Mankind is not as strong as it once was, we have become weakened by our own actions. We take on too much at a time and we want too much so we tend to work hard to get everything that we have dreamed of only to spend the rest of our lives worrying that we will lose it.

This is why so many of us have had to be medicated. It is sad indeed to admit that almost ¼ of the worlds population is in a medicated state. The topic of today’s article is the medication known as Paxil.

We will be discussing the pros and lord knows that there are many great things about it but there is also a dark side that not many people know about, maybe the only people who have seen that dark side are the ones who have had to stop taking this wonder pill known as paxil.

Maybe it was your own choice or that of your doctor, but when it is the doctor who decides that you should be ending your relationship with Paxil he/she is smart enough to do it the safe way and that is to be slowly weaned off of it.

Many people don’t understand this, they think that they can just quit cold turkey and not have any adverse reactions. Unfortunately, these people are dead wrong. Now, there are those who think that Paxil is only prescribed for people who are depressed. That is a common misconception.

While this is indeed a treatment for depression and the main reason why it was made, it is also used as a treatment option for anxiety and anxiety attacks as well. Bet there are many of you out there right now who are shaking their heads in disbelief.

The main problem is that when a person starts to take this drug in the hopes of ending their problems with anxiety, they never really stop to think of the day when they will have to stop taking this medication.

I should state from this point on that I am in NO WAY, shape or form putting down this product. Paxil has been a saving grace to many, many people out there who have had moderate to severe depression as well as moderate to severe anxiety.

I know this because I am speaking from experience, the next article in this series will discuss the side effects of stopping the medication on your own. This is not recommended as I have been through the hell it can cause.

It is recommended that if you are on this medication and you wish to stop, you are advised to do so with your doctor’s help. This medication is very serious as it deals with certain brain activities and should not be stopped without your doctors help.

See the following article for my personal experience of the nightmare that I went through while trying to stop on my own. Stay tuned folks, it will be a bumpy ride!

Read Anxiety And Paxil: Part II Possible Side Effects

Greetings one and all. Wow, this has been quite a journey. There are perhaps quite a few of you out there who have been following this series from the beginning so you are familiar with everything that has been going down.

For those of you who are new to this scene, here is a bit of a run down for you. This has been a 5 part series on anxiety. We have made the layout so that they will all intertwine so that no matter which article you are reading you will still get a feel for what happened in the last one.

The first article was basically an introduction to what exactly anxiety is, the second article covered a few natural ways to deal with panic attacks (anxiety attacks), and with the fast paced go, go world we live in it is great to know that we try to arm ourselves with ways to basically take care of ourselves.

The third article was a very personal article for me, it was an article based on stopping paxil, and it also covered the possibility of you being ready to stop it or not. Finally we got to the fourth article which was also a little emotionally draining as we proceeded to inform the reading audience what to expect when trying to stop taking paxil or any other mood altering drug cold turkey.

So now we will cover 5 different things that you can do to help you fight anxiety, some may be a little unorthodox but they work, just give them a chance and at least try them before you make a snap judgement.

1.Deep breathing exercises: During the worst moments of a panic attack, the way you handle your breathing will make or break your recovery time. Try taking slow, deep and cleansing breaths and above all, don’t hyperventilate. This will just set you back. You might end up with having a tight chest and feel your hands tingling, you know that awful feeling.

2. Meditation: Believe it or not, meditating during a panic attack can do wonders. It will help you to center yourself and you will be able to ride the attack like a wave and it won’t be as exhausting as it usually is. The easiest form of meditation is imagining a place where you feel very relaxed and serene. Keep telling yourself that you will get through this, make it your mantra.

3.Vitamin & Herb therapy: There are certain vitamins that you can take that will bring down the amount of panic attacks that you have and might even reduce the intensity of the attacks themselves. Vitamin B is excellent to start with. Then of course you have different herbs like St. johns wort, kava kava, pass ion flower and my personal favorite Valerian root. These are all amazing to help reduce how hard the attacks hit.

4.Aromatherapy: Every one knows that the best aroma to use when trying to relax is lavender. There are also a few other types of aromas as well, there is Jasmine and Chamomile as well.

Just remember that it all depends on what kind of person you are. What may work for someone else might not work for you. Don’t worry too much about it, it just means that you will have to find a combination that suits your individual needs.

Remember that it won’t be easy to find the combination that is right for you but keep trying and you are bound to hit the jackpot and find just the right combination or even just one type of remedy that will be perfect for you and it will make your life that much more manageable.

The major fear which makes people to stop panic attacks is the vicious circle of continuous panic attacks which may take place in certain cases. This has been the major problem of people dealing with panic attacks and looking to get the exact solution to stop panic attacks. Many people thinks that the major cause behind panic attacks is anxiety and hence they tries to stop anxiety in their body.

They start treating anxiety as an illness and make their best effort to stop anxiety. This develops a phobia in their mind about the panic attacks and under this they tries every single way to stop panic attacks, so it is quite imperative to stop phobia of panic attacks to get out of the vicious circle of panic attacks. In maximum cases the panic attacks comes in a circle and takes place one after another, forming a circle.

But studies have shown that this formation of circle is due to the development of a mental fear about the panic attacks and as soon as the first attack takes place another one comes right behind it due to the mental fear about it. So the best way to stop panic attacks circle is to keep a strong mental status and to deal with such conditions firmly.

In normal cases a individual faces a one or two constant panic attacks and after that he/she starts living with the anxiety of getting the another one pretty soon, which sends a clear invitation to another one, so in order to stop this you need to stop anxiety and should stop phobia of getting a panic attack.

This state of people living with constant anxiety of getting panic attacks is called the pre-anxiety, this is the major stage of the process stop panic attacks and if an individual gets out of it he/she surely reduces the chances of him/her receiving the panic attacks.

There have been various techniques developed to get over the pre-anxiety state and to stop anxiety. All you need to do is to prepare your mind to get over the panic attacks. These techniques includes the self hypnosis and taking the help of a psychotherapy these all are the most advanced way to stop panic attacks and a large number of people are addicted to these to stop phobia of getting panic attacks.

People from all over the world have been adapting these ways to stop panic attacks for them and are largely benefited by these ways as well. The way to stop phobia of getting panic attacks depends upon the mental status and body type of the in individual and if you have a strong mental status and can deal with the anxiety with a strong frame of mind you surely will have minimum chances of getting panic attacks for you. These all discussions and the methods discussed here help you get over the vicious circle of panic attacks and to stop panic attacks.

A large group of people sufferers from panic attacks and have their own ways to stop panic attacks. The majority of sufferers of these problems are prone to anxiety and panic attacks which makes them head towards getting the best treatment to stop anxiety and the panic attacks taking place in their body.

There have been several cases found in the young people, but this certainly is not a specific age for this it can take place in elder people and even in the children’s. This is why it’s quite important to stop phobia in the people suffering from panic attacks and consequently it becomes easy for the people to deal with the anxiety and panic attacks. Women exhibit the symptoms of anxiety and panic attacks more than men, but this does not mean that they are the only one who faces this problem, it can take place to people of all races and social classes, and hence everyone must be aware towards the ways to stop anxiety and to stop panic attacks.

General symptoms of panic attack comprises of intense fear heart throbbing, chest uneasiness, faintness, stomach distress, inhalation problems, and fright of dying. These all indication occurs in groups rather than individually, and hence it must be taken care, so as to protect you from the anxiety and panic attacks. These all indications could be used to understand the problem more closely.
It is very important for the people suffering from anxiety and panic attacks to get the proper treatment to stop panic attacks and to stop anxiety in their body.

There have been a lot of modern medicines and medical treatment available which helps you stop phobia in your body. There are several professional helps available to stop panic attacks for the people suffering from anxiety and panic attacks. These professional helps to stop phobia of getting panic attacks and anxiety are largely preferred over the medical ways, as they have no side affects and do not takes any external means to get over the panic attacks.

There are several self medication therapies available in the market which helps people to stop phobia of getting panic attacks and anxiety. These all therapies can be adapted from the offline market or through online helps available to stop panic attacks. It all depends upon the individual and the way he/she wants to adapt for his/her anxiety and panic attack problems. The problem with the panic attacks is that they are not that easy to understand for the people who are experiencing them for the very first time and this is when they becomes severe and vital to stop anxiety and panic attacks. So it is very important to understand the problem and then according to the panic attack and anxiety the treatment must be adapted.

With all the discussion above it becomes very clear that it is quite imperative to understand the panic attacks, their symptoms and the awareness towards the ways to stop panic attacks.

I was 24 when I had my first panic attack. I was sitting in the cinema when I started to feel very uncomfortable. My heart began to race and my whole body began to tense up. At first I thought it might have been an allergic reaction to something, then I began to fear it was something more serious like a heart attack. I left for the toilet and was so terrified I could not go back to my seat.

That was the first of many anxiety or panic attacks I was to experience over the next few years. I did not know what a ‘panic attack’ was until my doctor explained it to me. He did not give a lot of information about it but said I had developed an anxiety disorder. He prescribed some medication to calm me down but I stopped taking them as I feared I would become addicted or have bad side effects.

Check Out Stop Panic Attacks & Anxiety Naturally Plan

Sometimes at night I would wake with anxiety and every morning as I got up, I would check to see how anxious I felt in my stomach- The one thing always on my mind was “am I going to have a panic attack today”. Along with this I began to have thoughts that scared me like I might go crazy and do something totally out of character in public or with the people close to me.

I was so wound up I started to loose confidence in my own ability to control my own life. It influenced a lot of decisions I made for the next three years. Holidays, nights out, work trips all were influenced by this nagging fear of anxiety. Driving also started to become difficult as I feared getting stuck in traffic or at red lights and if I had a panic attack I wouldn’t be able to operate the car. I felt helpless.

Check Out Stop Panic Attacks & Anxiety Naturally Plan

This however is a letter of hope. I am writing this to let others who might be experiencing something similar that I found a way out of my anxiety. I found the Panic Away program on the internet and was initially suspect of buying it as I had not heard of it before. I took a chance and downloaded the e-book. As I read it I felt Mr Barry was speaking directly to me. He knew exactly what I was going through and outlined a way to move out of the anxiety with a technique he calls the One Move.

This approach has made a world of difference. I applied the technique each morning (when I usually experienced worst anxiety) and immediately noticed a difference. Something was changing – it is hard to describe, like a light going on – It felt like I was not running away form the fear anymore. Several weeks passed without significant anxiety and then I slowly dared to do things I was avoiding – driving on my own, flying on my own, lots of stuff on my own where before I need someone with me. One year later here I am writing this email feeling 100% better. I now do not fear anxiety creeping back because I have moved beyond it. That is what this book and technique has taught me.

Check Out Stop Panic Attacks & Anxiety Naturally Plan

I look back on the time spent in anxiety as a very troublesome but now worthwhile experience. I learnt more about myself than ever before and I learnt that I have all the resources within me to deal with this, I just needed someone to guide me. I am writing this in the hope that it might ring home with even just one person who is a similar place as to where I was when I felt down and trapped in fear.
